Zurich has gone live with a new global corporate website that it says will enhance digital interactions with consumers.
Accenture helped Zurich design, develop, test and roll out the new website. The global website was built to allow quick and easy migration of Zurich’s country-specific websites onto this global web platform, which enables those websites to benefit from the same enhanced digital capabilities.
Accenture will also provide maintenance services, as a managed service, for the web content management applications and IT infrastructure that support the insurer’s website, under a three-year agreement.
Avanade has assisted Accenture in building Zurich’s website and will also help Accenture deliver the maintenance services.
“With this new corporate website, we have achieved a major milestone in Zurich’s digital transformation strategy,” said David Patterson, enterprise applications at Zurich. “We can now offer a truly differentiated digital experience that today’s consumers expect."
Zurich’s new site automatically adapts its design to desktop, smartphone and tablet devices, and is based on a new technology platform that enables the insurer’s marketers to quickly design and launch personalised communication campaigns at scale across all digital channels.
The platform also helps marketing teams strengthen brand positioning and enhance customer engagement by providing actionable insights and advanced personalisation tools, said Zurich.
