IT consulting and outsourced managed services company Version 1 has announced the creation of 180 IT jobs across its offices in Ireland.

The roles available will include senior technology consultants, service desk managers, and IT graduate positions. Version 1 is also a partner of Microsoft and Oracle, which means that it is looking for consultants with skills such as SharePoint, .Net, and Oracle Business Intelligence. It also has a number of Java-based roles available.

The jobs will be created by 2013, with 45 vacancies expected to be filled over the next three months.

Version 1 said the recruitment drive will help the company meet the demands of new businesses and forecast growth of more than 30 percent this year.

“Last July, we announced the creation of 100 jobs in three years, but given our strong performance we expect to fill those roles in one year,” said Jarlath Dooley, human resources director at Version 1.

The company currently employs 265 staff in total, and the new jobs will be based at the company’s Dublin headquarters and at its offices in Cork and Belfast.
