The UK Oracle User Group’s JD Edwards 2011 conference will feature more customers than last year presenting their real-world implementations of the software, it has been announced.
Due to popular demand, at least eight end users, including BSkyB and United Biscuits, will be holding sessions at the two-day event next month.
The conference will be opened by Oracle’s VP of Applications General Business, David Aldridge, while Lyle Ekdahl, VP of product strategy for JD Edwards will also present a keynote. Also presenting is John Schiff, VP and general manager of Oracle’s JD Edwards World.
In addition to sessions on product development and innovative ideas for successful implementation, this year’s conference will also see the introduction of a new JD Edwards ‘walk-in clinic’, where attendees can discuss their problems with JD Edwards experts, see how they were solved with other customers and view the solutions in action.
Furthermore, the JDE Alliance is providing live software for JDE users to try out first-hand.
Delegates will be able to network throughout the event, and will have an opportunity to do so after the sessions finish with the JDE Alliance’s Evening at the Races event.
The JD Edwards Conference takes place on 9 – 10 November at the Madejski Stadium in Reading. More details on the agenda and how to register can be found here.
