The Body Shop has renewed a four-year £1m contract for human resource services with Northgate HR, and said it plans to expand its use of self-service functionality built into the service.
The cosmetics chain says the ResourceLink service it already uses has extended its functionality and a new module will allow employees to fill in time sheets and holiday or training request forms online, to be automatically managed by the Northgate system.
The firm is also considering using other self service HR functions built into the sytem for use by store managers.
The Body Shop first outsourced its head office payroll to Northgate HR in 2003, before extending it to retail units two years later.
