SAP’s UK and Ireland’s newly appointed managing director Cormac Watters is set to attend the annual SAP business-user community’s conference in Birmingham this weekend.
Hundreds of SAP users from the UK and Ireland will descend on the ICC Birmingham for the annual conference, with the chance to quiz SAP executives and peers about the SAP roadmap, personal experiences and best practice.
Themed “the formula for success”, the event's workshops, keynotes and networking session will focus on how businesses can get the most out of current or planned SAP investments.
Craig Dale, CEO, UK & Ireland SAPUserGroup said: “SAP implementations across all industries are evolving, driven by mobile, cloud and Big Data. In this environment, it is critical for organisations to be equipped with both the tools and knowledge to ensure they are maximising their SAP investments.
“With numerous breakout sessions and networking opportunities, delegates will get unparalleled opportunities to develop their own winning formulas. For SAPusers, this is an opportunity that should not be missed.”
While the majority of speakers will be SAP customers, Dirk Boessman, SVP of mobile development, Dr. Juergen Hagedorn, VP HANA Platform Product Management, and Sven Denecken, VP of cloud solutions strategy, as well as UserGroup chairman, Philip Adams are amongst the speaker line-up.
A new mobile and iPad app will allow attendees to connect with others who have specified the same interests, have connections in common and are attending similar sessions.
There will also be in excess of 100 breakout sessions on offer, covering areas including analytics, big data, cloud computing and mobile user experience. In addition, a new 'optimising SAP' stream will share valuable tips, tricks and best practices on getting more value from legacy systems.
The conference is open to all SAP customers with discounted rates for member organisations. For more information go to: http://www.sapusers.org/conference/ or follow @SAPUserConf on Twitter.
The event will take place between Sunday 23 and Tuesday 25 November.
