Plumbing and heating device manufacturer Reliance Water Controls (RWC) has begun rolling out Salesforce across its international business to centralise its sales information.
RWC has brought in integrator CloudSense to deliver the cloud-based project.
Starting in the UK, the Salesforce rollout will allow sales, marketing and customer service teams to access data from one single source, which will enhance planning and forecasting. RWC will then rollout Salesforce across its US, Canada and Australia regions.
Wayne Burman, head of commercial finance at RWC, said: “We are already reconfiguring the way our back office functions operate in order to deliver enhanced customer service. We already have a number of staff using the Salesforce accounts, contracts, calendar and tasks functionality and are part way through a second phase that will bring on board quotes, pricing, authorisations, marketing and reporting.”

The RWC sales team previously used a standalone server-based CRM package.
Centrica Energy deployed a mobile cloud-based Salesforce.com platform for its energy trading business last year, assisted by CloudSense.
The Daily Mail General Trust also signed a significant deal with Cloudsense for its CRM and the advertisement hub.
RWC is the UK division of Reliance Worldwide, specialists in water temperature, flow control, safety and heating systems. It has manufacturing plants across three continents.
