Palm's latest smartphone, the much-anticipated Palm Pre will launch in the US on June 6th, but UK users are still wondering when the device will be made available here.
Sprint and Palm announced that the long-awaited Palm Pre will hit stores 6 June for $200 (£129) with a two-year contract. The phone will be sold at Sprint stores, Best Buy, Radio Shack and select Wal-Mart stores.
News websites have been speculating on the launch date of the handset ever since it was unveiled at this year's Consumer Electronic Show, which took place in Las Vegas in January. The phone has already been hyped as an iPhone killer.
However, no information about a UK release date has been released. Earlier this year, a number of websites suggested that O2 would be the first UK network to offer the handset, but Palm Europe has remained tight-lipped on the matter.
