Outsourcer Atos has signed a five-year agreement with IT services provider Kelway for the supply of desktop infrastructure and datacentre hardware to help serve its managed service clients.
The deal covers the UK and Ireland and is said to be worth £150 million to Kelway, which will become Atos' primary provider of infrastructure and associated services.
"Atos will benefit from Kelway’s end to end supply chain services, backed-up by a comprehensive support programme," said the outsourcer. "Kelway will help Atos enhance its workspace and datacentre supply chain while delivering significant cost efficiencies".
Phil Doye, CEO of Kelway, said: “Working with Atos will provide another opportunity to help successful organisations achieve competitive advantage with the right technology.”
Adrian Gregory, senior vice president of managed services at Atos, said: "Delivering a high quality of service and value to our customers requires the right partners. This partnership creates an opportunity for both companies and will deliver improved service to our customers.”
