The first live demonstration in the UK of the new Fusion Applications suite will take place at the Oracle User Group conference in three weeks’ time.
The demonstration will take place on 2 November, the last day of the three day conference at the ICC in Birmingham.
Last month, Oracle chief executive Larry Ellison said the company will launch its long-awaited Fusion Applications in 2010, deployable both on-premises and as a service.
The UK Oracle User Group has launched a competition for 10 free tickets, worth £2,500, to attend the Technology and E-Business Suite Conference. The competition can be entered here.
Aside from the demonstration, there will be 240 sessions at the conference, covering a range of Oracle and E-Business suite topics.
The key session streams, compiled from recommendations by user group members, are Oracle E-Business Suite; Oracle technology including server software, design and development, application server and middleware; business intelligence; business and strategy; and Fusion Applications.
