Online game company Zattikka has deployed NetSuite's OneWorld software simplify its financial systems across its international operation, replacing Sage and QuickBooks implementations.
London-based gaming firm Zattikka employs a total of 160 staff across its operations spanning the Europe, US and China, and now has eight subsidiary organisations following a number of acquisitions made in 2012.
The company previously used multiple instances of Sage and QuickBooks software to manage its financials and ERP. Following the acquisitions last year, Zattikka sought to simplify its reporting process with a view to streamlining operations and paving the way for further potential growth with the introduction of new business entities.
Zattikka chose to replace its previous, complex reporting set-up by implementing NetSuite's OneWorld ERP system to consolidate the financials of its international subsidiaries with a single application across all countries.
“With such huge opportunities across global markets we wanted a solution that offered a global support system,” said Rob Gorle, chief financial officer at Zattikka.
“Our ambitious growth strategy relies on rapid expansion, both organically and through acquisitions, so we needed an accounting system that could be rolled out rapidly and efficiently across all of these new businesses.
He added: “As the acquisitions sometimes have very few English language speakers, the multi-language capabilities of NetSuite OneWorld, as well as its 24/7 support programme, proved to be very compelling.”
NetSuite made the customer announcement at its SuiteWorld event in San Jose, where the cloud vendor has announced updates including an overhaul of its mobile ERP system.
A record 5,000 guests including customers, press and analyst attended the event, up from 3,000 last year, including new customers such as enterprise-scale retailer Williams-Sonoma.
