Microsoft’s new ‘Kick-It’ initiative is supporting a football for kids charity on the lead up to the World Cup.

The charity, Right To Play, is an international organisation that brings sport to children in war-torn and Third World countries. It currently has a major football initiative running in Africa.

Businesses who purchase the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 product through a participating hosting partner will now be able to support Right To Play. For every purchase, Microsoft will donate $50 (£35) to the charity.

The World Cup takes place in South Africa from 11 June to 11 July. For more information on Microsoft’s Kick It initiative, click here

The offer runs until 15 July.
