Linklaters signs support deal with Unisys

Global law firm Linklaters has signed a large-scale IT services contract with Unisys.


Global law firm Linklaters has signed a three-year IT services contract with Unisys.

Linklaters, which has 540 partners worldwide, specialises in advising businesses, financial institutions and governments.

The deal will see Unisys support and maintain the law firm’s datacentres in the UK, US and Hong Kong, plus its office server, printer and storage infrastructure. Unisys will also manage Linklaters’ UK computing estate of PCs, laptops and personal productivity devices.

Unisys will work across 23 of the countries in which Linklaters operates and provide full support service to Linklaters’ London head office.

Linklaters’ technical systems manager Simon Gilhooly said: “This relationship with Unisys provides Linklaters with a worldwide resource on which all our staff can draw as we continue to build and expand our global operations.”

The company expected to benefit from an agile service, he added.
