A link has been removed from a Government web page after it appeared to be linking to a Japanese porn site.

The link on the Office for Security and Counter Terrorism site should have navigated to the Technical Advisory Board, but according to the BBC, actually went to a porn site.

After the BBC alerted the home office, the Home Office removed the link.

The government said it would be investigating the matter, but the problem had occurred after the Technical Advisory Board closed down and its website was sold to another company.

“As soon as this was brought to our attention, this page was removed. We are investigating how this happened and apologise for any offence caused,” said a statement from the Home Office.
