The IT systems at the Houses of Parliament crashed again last week, soon after MPs, Lords and other users were assured of a fix to other IT problems.
Parliament's users, reports Exaronews.com, could not access systems or experienced slow internet connections.
The latest problem came shortly after users received a memo from Parliament's IT department that the previous problems had been fixed.
The IT department had previously blamed IT problems on work that was carried out by one of its IT contractors, which it has refused to name.
Parliament is currently testing and rolling out the cloud-based Office 365 productivity suite to users.
Joan Miller, head of IT at the Houses of Parliament, is leaving her job this September. So far, no replacement has been announced.
Last year, Miller defended Parliament's move into the public cloud, despite data being stored on servers located in the US, posing potential data security concerns.
Miller said: "The services we have are secure, they add resilience. We have small applications that sit in the cloud, and it reduces my worry that the services are going to break.
"Risk should be balanced out with opportunity – don’t think everything is going to fail.”
