Social housing provider Notting Hill Housing is to use on-demand business process management and collaboration software from CTSpace to boost its £600m property development programme.
The hosted software will be used to store and share documents and designs throughout the programme’s supply chain, in a move the housing association hopes will deliver faster turnaround times on requests for information
The new system is also expected to reduce storage and back-up requirements, and cut IT support, print and courier costs. The software will also provide Notting Hill with audit trails for its business process management.
Shane Dargue, land manager at Notting Hill Housing, said: “We looked at where we could improve operational costs and productivity, and revising our business processes was a key area that would help. Problem areas included unnecessary replication of information, time wasted searching for information and retrieving files.”
He added: “CTSpace gave us all the off-the-shelf functionality we need now and may do for the future in a very user-friendly environment, so there’s no need for client configuration and a greater expectation of user buy-in.
Notting Hill Housing will roll out the software across three new projects this month and will later extend it to all programmes of work.
