Cisco launches hunt for UK's smartest SME

Cisco and Real Business have teamed up to find the UK's smartest small business.

Cisco and Real Business have launched the Customer Kings 2010 competition, seeking Britain's best customer-focused smart businesses.

2010's awards will recognise the greatest small businesses from every region of the UK, and this year will add a category highlighting the very best in big business.

"The spirit of Customer Kings lies in the fact that while a lot of things might feel like they're out of control for small businesses in a downturn, the one thing that can really make a difference is the experience that the business offers their customers," said David Critchley, Cisco's head of small medium enterprise & commercial.

"Twelve months on, that sentiment is still true, so we want to see every business with a claim on the title of being a Customer King entering this year's search."

Prizes are on offer, and the 2010 winner of winners will receive a £5,000 cash prize. Winners will be selected from each English region, as well as Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland, with two businesses also being selected as highly commended.  Entries close on 18 December 2009.
