Bolero, an electronic trading software firm based in London, has signed a 10-year outsourcing deal with CSC.
The company will use CSC for a managed web hosting service, as well as a multi-client web hosting infrastructure, to support its global software as a service business – from simple web applications up to complex e-business functions. Bolero’s 2,000 users will be addressed by the new deal.
Originally a joint venture between SWIFT and TT Club, Bolero sells systems to support multi-bank trade finance automation, including through integrating physical and financial supply chains. It offers automation, visibility, compliance and trade finance collaboration functions.
Arthur Vonchek, chief executive at the firm, said the new deal allowed it to “preserve all the key aspects of our current operating environment, while providing the additional benefits of a fully resilient and scalable managed operations infrastructure”.
