Menswear retailer Moss Bros has bought software to better manage its IT assets and improve change management and service management across the organisation.
It has bought the ITIL-compatible EasyVista Express tool from Staff&Line UK, and plans to roll out the software across 3,000 devices covering 170 UK sites in the weeks ahead, starting with its head office and main distribution centre.
EasyVista Express has modules including discovery, usage, asset management, change management, service management and a self-service portal.
Brett Gobler, IT manager for Moss Bros, said: “We knew we needed to review our IT requirements and upgrade to a much better solution to meet the demands of the business. EasyVista is one of the few products on the market that integrates all IT management needs in one solution.”
Gobler said it was also a boon that EasyVista is based on ITIL best practices, since this would “help us to implement an ITIL framework into our organisation.”
EasyVista is browser-based tool. The most recent version of the product, EasyVista 2007, also features a new configuration management database module. .
Moss Bros sells branded suits, with showcased brands including Calvin Klein, Ben Sherman and Hugo Boss.
