Payments processing firm WorldPay has rolled out Intralinks software, helping to meet regulatory requirements for secure collaboration between employees and external parties.
WorldPay, which has a presence in 40 countries, deployed Intralinks VIA Enterprise software as a services tools for its 3,000 employees, after deciding against similar tools from Huddle and Accellion.
The company needed a secure way of sharing information internally as well as with customers and external partners, while also supporting strict regulatory requirements and providing governance and administration capabilities.
Intralinks VIA is designed to make it easy for anyone to sync, share and unshare files, work efficiently on group projects, and manage content wherever it goes, even after it has been sent beyond the firewall.
“We selected Intralinks for the wide range of security capabilities it incorporates in its products, which provide us the greatest opportunity for highly granular security controls and potential to integrate to our existing internal systems,” said Rob Hornby, Chief Technology Officer at WorldPay.
Last March the McLaren Formula 1 team announced it was also deploying Intralinks VIA to protect its intellectual property and racing secrets.
