OK, So Adobe Supports GNU/Linux €“ But How Much?


This is welcome news, since it signals yet again that open source is now widely accepted as an important part of mainstream computing:

The Linux Foundation (LF), the nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of Linux, today announced that Adobe Systems Incorporated is joining the Foundation. Adobe is joining the LF to collaborate on the advancement of Linux as a leading platform for rich Internet applications (RIA) and Web 2.0 technologies.

But what we *really* want to know, of course, is when Adobe is going to prove its real commitment to the cause by coming out with a GNU/Linux version of Photoshop?
