Nottinghamshire County Council is tendering for software to enhance its MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub) IT system and provide integration with its Case Management system (Framework i).

MASH is a central resource for the whole of Nottinghamshire, receiving all vulnerable adult and new child safeguarding enquiries.

It is staffed by professionals from a range of agencies including the police, health, the council, education and probation, all working together in the same location. Virtual links exist to other service agencies.

Nottinghamshire County Council will award a three-year initial contract, with an option for annual extensions for up to seven years, to a maximum contract period of 10 years.

Development and implementation for the project is required by March or April 2014.

The estimated value of the contract has not been disclosed at this stage.
