Lee Valley Regional Park Authority (LVRPA) in London has deployed a new leisure management system from Omnico to improve the running of its diverse portfolio of leisure attractions.
LVRPA was host to a number of Olympic events last year, and it has deployed Omnico's ClarityLive system to build on that Olympic success.
The Omnico system supports point of sale (POS) functionality, online service access for direct customer bookings and payments, box office style management capabilities, membership management, business trend analysis and reporting, and interfaces to key LVRPA enterprise systems.
The new system, which is still being installed across the organisation, has already supported 20,000-plus white water rafting experiences booked online, and over £1m in online sales.
In addition it has helped issue 5,000 site memberships - mainly at Lee Valley White Water Centre and Lee Valley Ice Centre - and supported gift voucher schemes, loyalty programmes and combo deals.
Nigel Foxall, LVRPA head of performance and information, said: “We’re quite a challenging client in that we want to use our leisure management system in settings such as campsites as well as in more traditional venues. Omnico worked closely with us to create a brand new camping module for this.”
Bill Moran, senior venues manager at LVRPA, [email protected] “51 percent of our bookings come through online sales. We are very proud of the look, feel and functionality of the ClarityLive online booking system."
ClarityLive interfaces with LVRPA’s financial and Microsoft CRM enterprise systems.
The final phase of the ClarityLive implementation is due to be completed in Spring 2014, when the system will go live in a series of further facilities including Lee Valley VeloPark. These sites will power significant further growth of the membership base.
