The Red Devils have deployed a new business broadband system that can help keep up with the speed of their air stunts.

The Red Devils Parachute Regiment is using a new fibre broadband network from Virgin Media Business. The network is making it far quicker and easier for staff to manage the Red Devils' content management system, and upload news stories and blogs to their website and social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

Based in Wiltshire, the Red Devil’s old internet connection wasn’t providing nearly enough bandwidth to support the communications team and "frequently knocked them offline", said the Red Devils.

"With so much information to be shared with the media and general public, trying to upload new content using such a sluggish and unreliable connection was frustrating", said the Devils.

Lance Corporal Danny Kelly of the Red Devils said, "We’re an ambitious brand, keen to promote our work with our followers around the world. Our old internet connection wasn’t allowing us to do that, but the sky’s the limit now for our communications team."
