Jump 2.0.3

An alternative application launcher that can be used to access files, folders and apps

The dock in OS X can be used to access anything that can be found on your Mac, but as you start to increase the number of docked icons you have on display and launch a number of applications at the same time, this launching tool can quickly become cluttered, making it difficult to find what you are looking for.

Jump is an alternative launcher that can be used as a replacement for the dock or to supplement it. The tool can be used to house shortcuts to applications, files and folders, and these can be organised into groups to make them easier to find when they are needed.

A search facility is also available to make it easier to home in on a particular shortcut without the need to browse through dozens of icons. The Jump palette itself is a discreet affair that hides neatly off the screen when it is not in use.

If you are working with more than one monitor, Jump can be customised so that the launcher is displayed on your second display, leaving a larger working area available on your main desktop.

An effective and customisable alternative to the dock that has a great deal to offer.
