Spanning Sync 3.1.1

Synchronise Google contacts and calendar with your Mac

Spaning Sync is an easy to use tool that makes it possible to synchronise your Google account with your Mac. You can keep your Google Contacts and Calendar in sync with iCal and Address Book on your Mac, making it easy to gain access to the same information on multiple computers.

If you have multiple calendars set up, or a contact list that includes several groups, you may well not want to synchronise all of the data. Spanning Sync enables you to choose precisely what you would like to synchronise and a menu bar icon provides access to manually syncing if you would like to override the automatic option.

Automatic synchronisation can be performed on a variety of different schedules to suit your needs. If you frequently create new contact and calendar entries, you can synchronise data every ten minutes, but less busy calendars may make do with weekly syncing. Synchronisation can be performed in both directions, or you can opt to never change your local or Google data.

The trial version of Spanning Sync gives you full access to all of the program's features and if you decide you like to the software, you have two purchasing options. The first option is to make a one-off purchase for $65, but it is also possible to subscribe on an annual basis for $25 per year.
