The Open University has launched a competition offering a free place on one of its IT courses.

To win a place on one of four available courses, entrants need to complete a short survey and provide a brief reason for why they want to go on a course.

The courses available are ‘managing the software enterprise’, ‘information security management’, ‘working in virtual project teams’ and ‘Microsoft server technologies’.

Although the competition is available via www.womenintechnology.co.uk/open-university-competition, both men and women are invited to enter.

The closing date for entries is 9 July. The winners will receive vouchers that can be redeemed against the total cost of their chosen course in 2010/2011.
