Brad Peterson

Senior Director of Executive Engagement, Citrix

Brad Peterson is the Senior Director of Executive Engagement at Citrix. In this role, Brad manages the Citrix Conference Center in Santa Clara, California where the company hosts over 500 customers from around the world each year. During these meetings, Brad provides technology demos to customers after listening to their top business challenges, current app and desktop virtualization plans. As the Citrix Chief Demo Officer, Brad has earned a reputation for being the company’s authority on creating and presenting demos, and has led live demos from the Citrix Synergy stage to an audience of thousands as well as in the demo center to a small, influential groups of prospective customers.

Prior to his role at Citrix, Brad worked as the Director of Business Development EMEA at Citrix. He held director positions in Operations and Sales at Net6, E.piphany, Octane, Remedy and BayStone Software.

Brad earned a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California.

Adam Carter

Product Marketing Manager, Enterprise Client, Microsoft

Adam Carter is a product manager in the Enterprise Client group, focused on Remote Desktop and Remote Access technologies. His job titles at Microsoft have included Consultant, Technology Specialist, and Evangelist, but always with a focus on easing the deployment and reducing the cost of managing desktops.

Jason Southern

Director of Strategic Alliances for AppSense

Having joined AppSense in March 2012 to lead joint initiatives with Citrix and Microsoft, Jason is a veteran of the desktop virtualisation sector. He has spent close to a decade at Citrix, and more recently spent time with AppDNA developing their very successful Citrix relationships. Based in the UK, Jason's career spans both technical and commercial roles with a continual drive towards better integration across the ever-changing landscape of the desktop virtualisation eco-system.

Randy Milthorpe

Cloud & Virtualization Business Development Manager, Hewlett-Packard Canada Co.

Randy provides strategic direction to HP Canadian Sales Channels regarding Cloud and Virtualization. He works closely with customers to optimize their business technology to enable the Instant-On Enterprise. As well, he provides support for HP market planning, sales programs, and sales campaigns.

Randy has over 20 years experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining HP, he held business development, sales, and technical roles with Apple, Sun Microsystems, Xerox and Exxon. His solutions experience spans Document Management, Workflow, High Performance Computing and Energy Management.

Randy holds a graduate diploma in Energy Systems Engineering and is a two-time winner of the Government of Ontario, Ministry of Industry and Trade ‘Energy Management Award’.

Mike Simons

Editor-in-chief, ComputerworldUK

Mike is the Editor-in-chief of ComputerworldUK, joining IDG from Reed in 2006, where he worked on Computer Weekly and Computerweekly.com since 1999. He was editor at the launch of ComputerWeekly.com in 2001 and news editor of a combined Computer Weekly and ComputerWeekly.com operation from 2003. Mike helped Computer Weekly secure the Periodical Publishers Association awards as either “magazine of the year” or “campaigning magazine of the year” for four years out of five. Mike joined IDG as launch editor of ComputerworldUK and has recently also taken over responsibility as editor if sister site Techworld. Mike also sits on the SAP Global Quality Awards judging panel.
