Each year Forbes Magazine releases its list of the richest people in the world. Mexican telecommunication mogul Carlos Slim Helu and his family came in at the top spot overall with a net worth of $69 billion, and while Slim's business is pretty techie in our eyes, Forbes separately carves out a list of tech company billionaires, and they aren't far behind Slim. Overall, Forbes found 1,226 billionaires in the world with a combined wealth of $4.6 trillion
