David Birch, head of programme controls at CLM Delivery Partner, will use his keynote speech to explain how the organisation used Primavera to manage all the planning for this year's Games, to ensure that the huge project was delivered on time, while under intense public scrutiny.

"This presentation will focus on how programme and project control played a key part in delivering the Olympic Park and offsite venues on, or before, time and under budget.

"The lessons learned will show that there was no single magic ingredient, but rather highlight which management tools worked best at different stages of the programme," Birch said.

Other speakers at the event include Dick Faris, senior VP of Oracle's Primavera global business unit, who will discuss the capabilities of Primavera solutions and present his pick of new and innovative technology.

The UKOUG UK & EMEA Primavera Conference will take place on 8 March in central London at the CBI Conference Centre.

More details on how to register to attend the event can be found here.
