Firebrand Training has named the second winner of the Free Training for Life competition as Mario Henkel, a 26-year-old IT administrator.

Winning the competition gives Henkel, from Aschaffenburg, Germany, access to over 200 IT, security and project management courses and exams provided by Firebrand, for the rest of his life.

“By gaining just a single certification, research shows Mario could increase his earning power three times over in his lifetime. Just think what unlimited certifications will do for him,” said Firebrand Training UK managing director Emma Seaman.

Henkel, who currently works for ponturo consulting AG, has decided to do the Certified Ethical Hacking course from EC-Council first.

“As I’m responsible for our IT system’s security, the knowledge I gain from this certification will be invaluable in protecting the company’s assets,” he said.

The prize covers all training fees, exam fees, course books, food and accommodation. Henkel can take the training in any of Firebrand’s training centres across Europe.

Henkel was one of 15,000 contestants who entered the Free Training for Life competition.
