The Hong Kong sales operation is Facebook's second in Asia following Singapore, said the social networking site, adding that it already works with major brands across Asia such as 3 Hong Kong, the mobile services arm of Hutchison Telecom Hong Kong and pharmaceutical and nutritional products company Wyeth.

"With millions of people in Hong Kong and Taiwan using Facebook daily to connect with the people, brands, and causes they care about, Facebook provides a powerful combination of reach and engagement for advertisers," said Blake Chandlee, VP & commercial director, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Emerging Markets.
