City University offers fully-funded postgraduate IT courses

Deadline for this year's applications is 31 January

City University London is making fully-funded postgraduate research degrees available for a range of subjects, including computer and information science.

The 75 doctoral courses, which will be full-time for three years, will start in October 2011.

City University will fund the tuition fees and provide a maintenance bursary of £15,000 in 2011/12, which is expected to rise in line with inflation for the remaining two years.

Students will also receive a one-off allowance of £1,000 to cover the cost of attending conferences, purchasing equipment or any other activity to support their research.

Graduates from the UK and overseas are invited to apply for the studentships, which will be available across a whole range of disciplines, including computer science, business and management and information science.

The closing date for applications this year is 31 January.
