All Seeing Eye is a Chrome add-on which can run text searches on your entire browser history.

There's no complicated setup involved, almost nothing to do. Just install All Seeing Eye, and as you visit a new page it takes a screenshot, then saves and indexes the text.

Then, if you need to revisit a page but can't remember which one, click History from the menu, enter a keyword and click Search. All Seeing Eye scours all the text of every page - not just the title or URL - and displays the screenshot of any matching sites. Click the one you need and it's immediately launched in a new tab.

There are some privacy implications here. All Seeing Eye makes it easy for anyone with access to your system to learn more about what you're doing online. It indexes all the regular (non-incognito) pages you view, too (up to 10,000 in total), so if you log on somewhere sensitive - your bank account, say - that that site will also be indexed and ready to be searched.

Fortunately there's at least a partial solution on hand. You're able to enter specific domains on a blacklist, and they won't be captured in future.

All Seeing Eye is an excellent addon which makes it much easier to browse and access your recent Chrome history. Just keep in mind that other users of your PC can do exactly the same - use private browsing for anything you don't want searchable.
